SOUTH PACIFIC

TAHITI

Diving

Tahiti is a collection of lush volcanic islands that lie in the South Pacific Ocean. The passes and channels of Bora Bora (part of Tahiti's Society Islands) are loaded with sharks, eagle rays, mantas and other pelagics so big animal encounters are frequent. Tahiti diving is exciting, colourful, and perfect for all levels of diving.

Summer is from December to March when the climate is warmer and more humid. Winter runs from April to August and is cooler and drier. Water temperatures averages between 26 and 29 degrees Celsius. Visibility ranges from 30 to 45 metres.
