The dive centre is located in the Golden Tulip hotel in Khasab, which is the capital of the most northerly province of Musandam. This province is a peninsula just on the Strait of Hormuz, 3 hours by car northeast of Dubai and is separated from the rest of Oman by the stunningly beautiful fjords (long narrow strips of sea between high cliffs), small villages and dramatic mountain-hugging roads. The wild rugged beauty of the Musandam coastline and fjords is a national heritage of great value and is only 1 hour Domestic Flight away from Muscat with OmanAir. This is the only dive center in the whole area...so lots of fish and few divers! Turtles, rays, nudibranchs, dolphin, barracuda... you name it! The dive center is opened since January 2005 with new equipment, compressor, tanks, dive shop, dry room for our guests, multilingual instructors (German, English, French, and Dutch), a workshop... and a terrace for chill-out after diving.
